I am going through a transformation in my life that I never thought would happen. I am on a health kick! And I'm loving it. I drink soy milk (and I thought I hated it but wow is it good!) I have been reading nutrition labels, exercising and paying attention to what is happening with my mind and body. Maybe it's getting older and I'm hanging on to every last bit of anything I have left OR maybe it's that the world is finally realizing that our overindulgence in everything we do has got to stop. We overeat, overspend and try to stay ahead of everyone else. No more - its time to relax, slow down, enjoy your life - live your life. I have been following a weight management and nutrition lifestyle plan for the past 10 weeks and it is amazing at how much I have learned. I have learned why diets don't work, I have learned about good fats,bad fats, good carbs, bad carbs, sugar and glycemic index. I have learned how to mix foods so it has a smaller impact on fat storage - I have learned that I am addicted to sugar! And that addiction is hard to break! But I have found agave syrup - yum - and REAL stevia (not the stuff in the grocery store) but at a health food store.
